Greetings from B. J. Vanijya Mahavidyalaya (Autonomous)!

I warmly welcome all of you - faculty, administrative staff, parents and students - especially the new comers to this new academic year 2024-25. May our academic journey together be blessed with deserving successes during the year. Let us also congratulate the students of last year 2023-24, who have successfully graduated. May they be blessed with success in building careers that will bring us all pride and joy.

The college has been accredited with CGPA of 2.78 on four-point scale at B++ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Last year we entered into a new era of education and implemented the National Education Policy (NEP). The NEP has brought about significant changes in the education system of our country and we are committed to implement its recommendations in our curriculum to provide our students with a modern and well- rounded education. I am confident that given the passion with which the faculty has welcomed the NEP, the students will have much to look forward to in the coming years.

I am happy to announce that B. J. Vanijya Mahavidyalaya has been bestowed with the Autonomous status by UGC from the academic year 2024-25. The visionary leadership of Er. Shri Bhikhubhai B Patel, Chairman, Charutar Vidya Mandal is the driving force behind this entire educational movement. Under his leadership and due to zealous efforts of the trustees, the college has been marching towards newer and higher academic goals.

The continuous reforms at the academic and administrative levels have made the college holistically efficient. The student-centric approach offers huge scope for the students to choose elective courses from a wide variety of subjects. Some of the salient features of the college include use of ICT tools in the teaching learning process, audio visual aids, training programs, on-campus placement drives, etc. The college has excellent infrastructure facilities for academic, sports, administrative, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which include adequate number of class rooms, well-equipped computer centre, communication skills lab, library and reading room, administrative block, playground, gymnasium, canteen and parking facilities.

Our unwavering focus is to transform the individual holistically i.e., to broaden their horizons of thought, to sharpen their focus, and to develop their personalities into globally responsible citizens conscientious of their community, society and the nation.
